The DB Class V90 (after 1968 the DB Class 290) locomotive is a German diesel-hydraulic locomotive for shunting and freight hauling. From 1995, large numbers of locomotives of the class were fitted a type of radio remote for remote control operation. The rebuilt locomotives of the 290 series became the Class 294.
The locomotive was default content in RailWorks 2 and RailWorks 3: Train Simulator 2012, and as part of the European Loco & Asset Pack.
