The DB BR 442 ‘Talent 2’ is a German electrical multiple unit built by Bombardier Transportation for Deutsche Bahn and other companies.
History[]
Train Simulator[]
For Train Simulator the BR 442 comes in DB Regio livery and was developed by Dovetail Games. It was initially released by mistake onto Steam late July 2014 owing to a "misunderstanding between Steam [and DTG]" and was finally released for proper on 20th October 2014.
The add-on comes with scenarios for the Munich - Garmisch-Partenkirchen route. The 442 features PZB signalling, SIFA vigilance device (disabled by default), and AFB train power control. A passenger view is also present.
